The exhibition The Sign of Water, hosted at JW Marriott Venice, offers an immersive artistic experience in which the artworks engage in dialogue with the surrounding spaces, creating a visual and sensory journey between artist and audience. Carefully distributed throughout the resort, the works accompany guests along a path that encourages direct contact with art, in harmony with the JW Marriott philosophy of hospitality.

The exhibition celebrates the strength and beauty of water through the language of contemporary art, featuring references to pop art, intense color palettes, fragmented compositions, and graffiti-inspired elements. The artworks present a balanced synthesis of techniques and subjects, alternating between portraits and deconstructed pieces created with acrylics and markers. Some works incorporate reclaimed materials, such as brushes, highlighting a tangible commitment to sustainability. Overall, the exhibition explores the relationship between humans and water in an evocative symbiosis, transforming the resort’s spaces into places of inspiration, discovery, and contemplation.

The exhibition will be open until November, in conjunction with the Biennale di Venezia, and is accessible to both hotel guests and external visitors. Non-resident visitors can easily reach the resort via a free shuttle service, operating every 30 minutes from the pier in front of the Giardini Reali in San Marco, from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm.
